HIS career is taking flight and now Hampshire’s newest darts world champion has been brushing shoulders with some of Hollywood’s biggest stars.
Newly-crowned BDO world darts champion Scott Mitchell, from Bransgore in the New Forest, has been involved in the filming of London Fields alongside Johnny Depp, Amber Heard, and Billy Bob Thornton.

The 44-year-old was brought in to offer expert advice to the stars as one of the film’s main characters, Keith Talent, is an aspiring darts player.
Scott, who beat Martin Adams to the BDO title on Sunday, has described how he first told Depp to hit a bullseye – only to find he hit a 25 twice from his first three darts.
And while off shoots, Thornton would come over to him for a round of darts.
He added Heard was also happy to pose for photos with him.

The landscape gardener won £100,000 prize money after claiming his first ever BDO world title with a thrilling 7-6 win over three-time winner Martin Adams.
He now plans to spend the cash on upgrading the tractors on his family farm.
