Andy Hayden continued on from a win-laden 2014 with victory in Cormorants’ club match on Hordle’s Willow Lake.
Hayden fished long pole and punched bread to land 67lb 4oz of carp to 6lb fished to an island, writes MARK SIMMONDS.
Pete Newman (Sonubaits) finished second with 35lb 2oz of carp on long pole and corn, with Dave Hydes third with 28lb 11oz of carp and skimmers on the corn and waggler.
The Orchard club match on the Match Lake at Orchard was won by Brett Tizzard who took 51lb 14oz of carp to 5lb on bread fished close to the lilies from peg 11.
Bournemouth Lodge’s Chris Albiston finished second from peg 18 with 35 small carp for 49lb 6oz on pole, maggot and pellet.
Darrell Fellato finished third from peg 37 with 38lb 12oz of carp on pole and maggot. Others: J Turner 38lb 8oz, D Wright 37lb 12oz and D Oaks 35lb 10oz.
