Mickey Joyce, whose highest break is 73, went down 2-0 to Adam Stacey in the semi-finals of the 16-man scratch event at Frames Sports Bar, Coulsdon.

Charlie Pringle (Chandler’s Ford) lost 2-1 in the quarter-finals to Stacey, 14, who reached the last-four of the 2013 English Under-14 Championship.

Gosport’s Mark Lloyd won the final.

The previous day, Joyce had continued his relentless march towards a third Eastleigh & District Under-19 Premier title by extending his lead over Steven Hughes to 13 points.

With eight weeks left of his final Under-13 League, Premier leader Connor Benzey has a nine-point advantage over Abhay Chopra.

It starts on Good Friday but there is no event on Easter Monday because of the Club Championship. As usual, the times are 11am-3pm and the cost is £6 a day.
