WINCHESTER & District young athletes travelled to Andover to compete in the second Hampshire Sports League match.

In the Under-11 Boys, Billy Brackley was second overall, with speed bounce 49 (third), one lap 13.9 (fourth) and vertical jump 40 (fourth). Jake Pasche was a solid seventh place, with his best performance in the chest push, 6.00m (third equal).

The A team finished fourth and the B team fifth.

The best placed Under-11 Girl was Grace White in sixth out of the 63 girls taking part.

In the running events, she won the one lap, 13.6 and three lap, 42.7.

Serena Charles, in fifth, was the best placed Under-13 girl. She was second overall in the shot 7.88.

The Under-13 Boys team were second on the day, with Samuel Roberts (sixth) being the best placed WADAC athlete. Frankie Diedrichsen won the speed bounce.

Winchester had six girls in the Under-15 Girls category.

Grace Reid was best placed in third overall, finishing runner-up in both the two lap and four lap.

Lucy Torrance was fourth overall and took second place in both the standing triple jump and shot.
