THE Hampshire derby rugby match between Trojans and Eastleigh was today abandoned – after the referee was allegedly caught up in altercation involving players from both sides.
Referee Phil Crossley, from the Dorset & Wilts RFU, left players and spectators stunned by calling an end to the London 3 South West game at Stoneham Lane after only 15 minutes.

Crossley walked off after getting caught up in a shoving match involving players from both sides.
The official declined to comment afterwards.
