THE winners of the 2016 Hampshire and Isle of Wight Sports Awards were revealed last night at Southampton Football Club.

 

There were 18 winners, and they were as follows:

Junior Disability Sportsperson: Alice Tai, New Forest.

Senior Sportsman: Mahamed Mahamed, Southampton.

Senior Sportswoman: Kelly Simm, Eastleigh.

Senior Disability Sportsperson: Georgina Hermitage, East Hampshire.

Masters Sportsperson: Joanna Corben, Fareham.

Outstanding Personal Achievement: Chris Gallagher, East Hampshire.

Junior Team: Sharks Disability Swimming, Basingstoke & Deane.

Senior Team: Team Solent Sharks, Southampton.

Participation Coach: Kelly Wallis, Fareham.

Performance Coach: Graham Mabey, Test Valley.
