Teenager Kieran Page led the way as Fareham 2nds celebrated a significant Regional League and Hampshire Cup double success.
The Barton Peveril student notched hat-trick as Fareham boosted their Regional Division 1 survival prospects with a 6-3 win over Chichester and then scored again in the 5-1 Hampshire Cup victory against holders Winchester II.
Fareham swept into a 4-0 lead before Chichester mounted a comeback, Page getting his threesome alongside strikes by Greg Cox, George Davey and Nick Knight.
Cox scored twice as Fareham ended Winchester’s reign as Hampshire Open League Cup holders – Luke Gould, Page and Tom Seebold also scoring to set up a semi-final tie with Hamble on April 9.
In the other OLC semi-final. Southampton University will play Haslemere.
