The huge weights didn’t stop there with Ian Dunlop taking 113 lb 12 oz of carp on the band and pellet from peg 41 for second.

Steve Nadin took third with 110 lb of carp from peg 43.

Cormorants fished a club match on Dandy’s Fords Match Lake with Pete Newman taking carp to 5 lb on the waggler and pellet off peg 12 with 75 lb 4 oz.

Gary Wright was runner-up with 61 lb 4 oz of carp on the waggler and pellet up in the water from peg 7.

Mick Aldis fished peg 3 for third with 57 lb 3 oz of carp on the long pole and pellet.

Shaun Franks won the first round of the Dandy Fords Tens League fished on the Canal at Dandy’s Ford.

He fished peg 4 to take 31 lb 2 oz of carp on the pole and maggot.

Second was Jeff Andrews, with 29 lb 13 oz of carp on pole and meat from peg 7.

Others: Viv Parker 24 lb 7 oz, John Metcalfe 17 lb 6.

The 23rd and last round of The Eastleigh Club Championship on Stoneham Top Lake saw Mick Hawkins take the series followed by Clive Egerton and Dickie Reeve.

On the day, Paul White took 51 lb 14 oz of bream to win from Egerton (38 lb 13 oz of bream) and Rich Allen (28 lb 12 oz of bream).

Others: John Clark 25 lb 12 oz, Dave Beaumont 25 lb 11 oz, Adam Sear 25 lb 4 oz.

The Silver Fish Match on Witherington's outer ring went to Bartosz Rechi who took skimmers and roach for 30 lb 12 oz on maggot from peg 40.

Twenty four anglers fished in the open match on Todber Manor's Hill View and Ash Lakes.

Scott Russell took 160 lb 8 oz from Peg 54 on Hill View with Gary O’Shea second with 106 lb 4 oz from peg 46 on Hill View and Marc Illingworth third with 101 lb 4 oz from peg 49 on Hill View.

On The Isle of Wight’s day ticket fishery at Rookley Park, Steve Crouch took a 29 lb 2 oz mirror and Joe Gladis a 29 lb mirror.

Paul Lewin took fish of 26 lb 8 oz, 21 lb 14 oz and 15 lb and Dan Coles took a 25 lb 10 oz common.

On The Blackwater Syndicate, Jack Petitt took a 38lb 14oz mirror on a Northern Special pop up over C.C Moore Live System.

On Todber Manor's Little Hayes, Lee and 10-year-old Jake Hayman took 18 carp between them topped by the latter's new personal best of 25 lb 6 oz.

The lads used Sticky Baits Krill and Mainline Banoffee boilies.

Paul Sheers managed 11 carp to 23 lb 15 oz during a 96-hour session using Sticky Baits Krill and Mainline Banoffee boilies.

Darren Dunn landed 3 carp to 15 lb 8 oz, while Mark Dunn took four carp to 16 lb 4 oz on pellet and Dave Page banked four carp to 17 lb 9 oz.

Over on Big Hayes, Luke Ratcliffe did a 24-hour session landing five5 carp to 25 lb 8 oz on Urban Baits boilies.

Zac West did a 24-hour session managing three carp to 25 lb 8 oz, while Mark O'Sullivan took four carp to 24 lb 4 oz on Scopex Squid boilies.

Craig Hook landed 11 carp to 24 lb 9 oz on Sticky Baits Krill and tiger nuts.

Matthew Cuffy took five carp to 25 lb on Sticky Baits Krill.

Scott Butland and Steve Pugh did a 24 hour session banking 24 carp between them for a combined weight on 417 lb 6 oz.

The biggest carp went to 26 lb 6 oz and Scott landed a personal best 27 lb 9 oz catfish caught on Sticky Baits Manilla.

On Wadmill Chris Strickland landed six carp to 1lb on pellet, and Rodney Fisher landed six carp to 10 lb.

Jack Elsworth did a 24-hour session managing 16 carp to 18 lb on CC Moore Pacific Tuna. Mark Dunne took eight carp to 15 lb during a day session, and Craig Renning landed 14 carp to 17 lb on CC Moore Live System.

Jim Allen did a day session, landing eight carp to 18 lb using solid bags of pellet.

Over on Paddock Lake, Ian Cook took five catfish to 26 lb 12 oz and three carp to 25 lb 12 oz, while Dylan Hext banked a 30lb catfish.

Richard Carter took catfish of 24 lb and 27 lb, and Jack Taylor did an evening session landing a 25 lb 8 oz common on CC Moore Live System.

Willow Bank produced some good carp with Rob Mudge fishing a 48-hour session to take eight carp topped by a new personal best 24 lb common.

He caught the majority of his carp on the method feeder and CC Moore Pacific Tuna.

Kenny Stamp landed three carp to 21 lb using CC Moore Live System.

On Milton Abbas, John Alexander took a 27lb 12oz mirror on C.C Moore Pacific Tuna, while Tony Knill took a 21lb 12oz mirror, also on C.C Moore Pacific Tuna.

On Uddens Pondwood, near Ringwood, Gareth Browning took a cracking 27lb ghostie plus two other ghosties of 18lb and 13lb.

Junior Charlie Philips took a 16lb mirror.

Pete Chmiel took his first fish of 2017 from The New Forest Water Park with a cracking 41lb 10oz mirror on Pacific Tuna Corker over Pacific Tuna boilies.
