PETE Newman won Division 1 when the fourth round of the Snows Toyotas Super League was fished on Orchard Lake.

He landed 63 lb 8 oz of carp to 5 lb taken on long pole and maggot to beat Jem Turner (59lb 10oz of carp on long pole, soft pellet and maggot), Graham Tappenden (52 lb 12 oz) and Gary Naylor (50 lb 6 oz of carp on long pole, maggot and paste down the middle).

Dan Sherfield won Division 2 with 52 lb 10 oz of carp in the margins on corn.

Others: Paul Fellbrich (34 lb 8 oz), Rich Allen (33 lb 15 oz), Jeff Rowlands (33 lb 12 oz).

Demoted from Division 1 were Rick Kakjo, Gerry Illingsworth, Mark Cannings, Dave Sharpe and Terry Hiscock.

Promoted from Division 2 were Paul White, Mick Hawkins, Kev Downer, Clive Egerton and Dan Sherfield.

Cormorants fished Broadlands Main Lake on pegs 64 to 86 where the end pegs fished but everything in between was a lot slower.

Dave Nightingale won with 44 lb 4 oz of bream to 4 lb and skimmers on the tip and maggot from peg 64.

Second was Mick Aldis on peg 86 with 25 lb 4 oz consisting of skimmers on tip, maggot and corn, while Nigel Fitzgerald took third off peg 85 with 10 lb 10 oz on roach on the pole.

Others: Dwayne Seed 5 lb 14 oz, Neil Tappin 5 lb, John Banks 4 lb 12 oz.

Mike Smith won the Over Sixties match on Dandy Ford's Match Lake and Canal.

He hauled in 48 lb 11 oz of carp on pole and pellet from peg 4 to beat Alan Pragnall (45 lb 11 oz of carp on pole and pellet from peg 23), Jem Turner (44 lb 3 oz from peg 18) and Gary Naylor (43 lb 8 oz from peg 10).

The Silvers was won by Dave Moody on the Match Lake peg 5 with 12 lb 2 oz and on The Canal Sandy Hynes took the silvers with 29 lb 10 oz from peg 1.

The Orchard Open saw 31 anglers fish with Jem Turner winning from peg 30 with 49 lb.

Others: Phil James 47 lb 12 oz, Graham Tappenden 47 lb 8 oz, Lee Woodhouse 46 lb, John Pole 42 lb.

The Open match held on Todber Manor's Ash and Homeground fished well.

On Ash, the aptly-named Ash Tomkins took 132 lb 14 oz to win from Marc Illingworth on 104 lb 4 oz. Jack Stamp was third with 96 lb 4 oz.

Homeground: Joshua Siljeur 106 lb 14 oz, Nick Merry 57 lb 10 oz, Pete Neate 57 lb 9 oz.

Silver fish pool: Matt Skyme 76 lb, Ash Tomkins 74 lb 10 oz, Marc Illingworth 52 lb.

Fishing has been superb on The Isle of Wight with two upper forties taken.

On Monks Pool, Lawrence MacClean took Cliff at 46 lb 8 oz while over on The Blackwater Syndicate Steve Price took Rascal at 48 lb 9 oz.

Owen Giles took seven fish with the best a 36 lb 2 oz, Mark Foster took a 34 lb 11 oz and Steve Kitcher a 20 lb 2 oz.

On Rookley Park, Luke Drew took a 26 lb common and mirrors of 25 lb 12 oz and 20 lb 2 oz.

Paul Lewin reeled in mirrors of 32 lb 8 oz and 20 lb 8 oz, Lawrence Wilson mirrors of 25 lb and 24 lb 4 oz, Steve Strowlger fish of 24 lb 8 oz and 24 lb 6 oz and Pete Oldbury a 23 lb 8 oz.

Over on Todber Manor's Big Hayes, Ross Clark landed five carp to 20 lb on Sticky Baits Krill, while Roger Randall managed five carp to 23 lb 8 oz on Sticky Baits Krill.

Richard Randal banked 14 carp to 22 lb 12 oz on Sticky Baits Manilla and Brian Moore reeled in eight carp to 23 lb on Mainline Essential Cell.

Eddie Blake did a 24-hour session for five carp to 21 lb using CC Moore Pacific Tuna, while on Little Hayes Shane Benham took two carp to 20 lb 8 oz on Pro Evo boilies.

Kenny Webb banked three carp to 21 lb 8 oz and Liam Duncan did a 24-hour session landing six carp topped by a personal best of 21 lb 10 oz, using Sticky Baits Krill and Manilla over pellet.

Toby Oldfield did a 24-hour session, banking 15 carp to 25 lb using Nucleus Baits Plumberry and Tangemarine boilies.

On Willow Bank, Simon France landed two carp topped by a 28 lb 2 oz ghost carp on Sticky Baits Signature squid pop ups.

Dave Pringle banked a 24 lb 5 oz mirror on Mainline Spicey Crab boilies, while on Wadmill Darren Bealing landed seven carp to 15 lb 4 oz.

Lynda Major took a 15 lb 4 oz personal best carp on Mainline Hybrid wafters and Dan Ponting landed four carp to 14 lb on CC Moore Pacific Tuna.

Steven Stanley banked six carp to 15 lb on CC Moore Live System, while Jamie Taylor took seven carp to 14 lb on Mainline Peaches and Cream Boilies.

Chris Haydon fished zigs to landed 12 carp to 14 lb 8 oz.

Over on Lin-Brook, Paul Jones took a common at 22 lb 8 oz from peg 11 and Dan Light took a 21 lb mirror.

On The Roach Pit, Dave Moody took a cracking 27 lb 2 oz mirror and Chris Dowthwaite took E Scales at 26 lb 12 oz.
