SOUTHAMPTON golfer Richard Bland will play with Heath Slocum and Charlie Wi in the first two rounds of the US Open.
The draw for the second major of the year was announced earlier today.
Bland will start on the tenth hole of the Bethpage Black course, in New York, at 12.21pm BST on Thursday, making him part of one of the first groups out.
He is due off at 5.52pm BST from the first tee on Friday.
Bland will be joined by American Slocum and Korean pro Wi for both rounds.
The Stoneham golfer won his place in the US Open after coming through the international qualifying event at Walton Heath.
Bland initially finished as first alternate, but an extra place was granted last week, meaning he will now take part in his first ever US Open.
Justin Rose has been drawn with fellow Englishman Ross Fisher and American Sean O'Hair.
