Danson helps GB hockey girls beat China

Southampton’s Alex Danson won her 46th Great Britain cap in a 3-1 Champions Trophy win over Olympic silver medallists China in Argentina.
The result, coupled with the Netherlands’ earlier 4-1 defeat of Japan, leaves Great Britain second in Pool A, behind the Dutch on goals scored.
A penalty corner double from Crista Cullen and a goal from Slough’s Ashleigh Ball helped Great Britain victory over China.
In addition to her GB caps, Danson has also won 123 England caps.
