Big road race weekend in Hampshire

Start of the Marwell race Start of the Marwell race

The nine-month long battles of the Hampshire Road Race League came to their climax at Victoria Country Park, Netley when Southampton AC hosted the 12th and final race in the series with their annual 10 kilometre race.

The season has taken runners over distances of five miles up to 20 miles and the opportunity to drop some of their poorest results (both individual and teams) left the critical final tables available for final day alteration.

Full report, plus action from the Marwell 10k, top results and pictures in tomorrow's Daily Echo.
