Markab is to bypass Royal Ascot for Salisbury following his return to winning ways at Windsor.
Henry Candy's nine-year-old sprinter ended a famine stretching back to the Group One Betfred Sprint Cup in September 2010 when making all the running to take the Listed Leisure Stakes.
Markab is to stick to that level at the Wiltshire venue over six furlongs on June 17 rather than go to Ascot where he holds an entry in the Wokingham Handicap.
"He's come out of Windsor very well. It was lovely to see him win there," said Candy.
"He's going to give Ascot a miss. He'll go for the Cathedral at Salisbury, a Listed race again."
