Harry Ellis will hope for revenge against Germany's Dominic Foos when he faces him in the last 32 of the Boys Amateur Championship tomorrow.
The Meon Valley star progressed through the first round of the match play section at Royal Liverpool with a 2&1 win over Jamie Dick, of Forest Hills.
That sets up a clash with Foos, who beat Ellis in the final of this year's French International Boys Championship.
Ellis, 17, is joined by his Hampshire and England teammate Jack Singh-Brar in the last 32 of the competition, after the Brokenhurst Manor ace beat Haydn McCullen, of Delamere Forest, 2&1.
Singh-Brar, 16, will now face Bearsden's Ewen Ferguson tomorrow.
Should either player advance, they will play their last-16 match tomorrow afternoon.
