HAMPSHIRE’S Justin Rose missed the cut on his return to PGA Tour action.

After two weeks on the European Tour in the Middle East, the former US Open winner returned to the United States to play in the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines.

After opening with a two-over 74 the 34-year-old improved by four shots with second round 70 but, with the cut coming a -1, Rose missed out by a shot in his first event of the year in America.
