Richard Bland and Sam Hutsby secure European Tour cards for 2012

RICHARD Bland and Sam Hutsby have earned European Tour cards for the 2012 season, after securing top five finishes at qualifying school.

Liphook member Hutsby ended the nerve-shredding six-round event in Spain on 20-under-par, to come second - just one shot behind winner David Dixon.

Stoneham's Bland came home in fourth place, after posting a total of 18-under for the tournament, which represented the last chance for golfers to secure playing rights on the main Tour next year.
