CORHAMPTON’S Neil Raymond is on course to reach the match play stages of the Australian Amateur Championship.
Raymond shot four-over-par today in the first of two stroke play qualifying rounds in Melbourne.
That was enough to put him into a tie for 30th place.
The top 64 at the end of the second round will advance to the knockout match play section at Woodlands Golf Club.
