Justin Rose ran into trouble at Augusta’s feared ‘Amen Corner’ with two bogeys in three holes in the US Masters yesterday – but still had a better second day than Sergio Garcia and Dustin Johnson who plummeted down the leaderboard with four-over-par rounds. Rose got to four under par after two birdies on his opening nine and sank another birdie after his Amen Corner tribulations, gave a shot back on the par five 15th but picked up another birdie to finish three under par. Garcia started on six under par but was 10 shots worse yesterday as a swirling wind and rain made life difficult.
