REIGNING Finn class Olympic champion Ben Ainslie has lost further ground on main rival Jonas Hogh-Christensen after the first race of the day on Day 4 of the Olympics.
The Dane, who was the overnight leader in the competition, won the first race, with Ainslie only able to come home in fourth place on a murky day in Weymouth.
The result means Hogh-Christensen now has a nine-point lead over Ainslie.
