A man arrested in connection with the murder of American artist Margaret Muller has been released on bail.
Officers from the Serious Crime Directorate east arrested the 46-year-old man at 7.30am yesterday. He was questioned at an East London police station.
He has now been released on bail, to return to an East London police station on 29 April, "pending further enquiries", police said.
The 27-year-old American artist was stabbed to death while jogging in Victoria Park, Hackney, about 8.30am on February 3.
Police arrested an 18-year-old man in Hackney on March 6 in connection with Miss Muller's murder.
Colin Cummins, was arrested at his home about a mile from the scene of the murder was bailed to return to an East London police station in April.
The first arrest cames two weeks after police staged the largest ever murder reconstruction in UK history. More than 100 volunteers retraced their steps on the month anniversary of Miss Muller's death in a bid to catch her killer.
