FANCY spending a day with the Arsenal football team? A trip to Ascot by limousine? Or perhaps a short golfing break in the Algarve?
You can, and support charity at the same time, by bidding for the lots at the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) Spring Ball Auction.
The event takes place at Sopwell House, Cottonmill Lane, St Albans, on March 28. Proceedings start at 7pm with a bucks fizz reception.
This is followed by dinner, a magician's show and the auction of prizes donated by local businesses and groups including Arsenal FC, which regularly uses Sopwell House. The fundraising effort has been co-ordinated by Faber Maunsell, based in Marlborough Road, St Albans, and supported by the Hertfordshire Business Group.
Mr John Brownfield who chairs the group said: "The Business Group has helped do far more for NSPCC in Hertfordshire than we could do as individual companies."
Tables of ten are available at £600. For details call 01908 568336.
