Borehamwood 2000 U14s were given their toughest test of the season when they met Enfield Rangers in the Watford Friendly League Cup.
Although Wood went on to win the match 6-1, Enfield initially refused to let them settle and were a goal up at half-time. Midfielder Nick Duffey equalised and Joe Reynolds put Wood in front. Then the floodgates opened. Eric Hovelson came off the bench to score, and his goal was followed by strikes from Luke O'Malley and Iain Whitlock and debutant Danny Hart.
