Tottonians aim to regain control London 2 South-West tomorrow as they go into their biggest league game of the season with a side at full strength.

Totts’ brief spell as leaders came to an end when they lost their only game of the campaign so far – at Old Alleynians a month ago.

But since then it has been business as usual as the club tries to chase down London Cornish who they play tomorrow.

With just a bonus point between the sides, Totts can return to Water Lane with top spot as the Christmas break approaches.

The clubs have always had a close bond but Tottonians head coach Gavin Williams is keen to point out that will be put to one side for 80 minutes in the capital tomorrow.

He said: “It will undoubtably be a tough encounter against our old friends. The two clubs have a brilliant relationship but on the field we will be doing everything we can to ensure the points are ours.

“We have had a great week’s preparation and have been able to select from a full squad. The team we have selected is both creative and abrasive, qualities we know will be required this weekend.

“We have had to leave some very good players out, with vice captain Sam Cranton the most notable omission. Sam is playing extremely well and will be disappointed to lose out but it shows the depth and strength of the squad at the moment.”

Totts and Cornish are not the only side having a say at the top of the league.

A rejuvinated Winchester outfit has now won six games on the trot – the couple they lost were narrow defeats at the hands of the top two.

Winch have home advantage over Old Reigatians as they look to pounce on any slip-ups above them.

While they are on a good run of results, they were taken to the wire by bottom side Farnham last time out and will need to improve if they are to gain their seventh consecutive victory.

Head coach Andy Fields has a full squad to choose from. Campbell Ettinger has returned from holiday and is available for selection and Matt Woods is unavailable due to a severely broken nose and cheek bone he picked up in training on prop Alex Lee’s head.
