EASTLEIGH remain Hampshire’s top team in London SW3 despite losing 23-15 at Teddington.
New Milton earned themselves a losing bonus point following a narrow defeat – not for the first time this season.
The second-from-bottom side were defeated 18-17 by Old Mid-Whitgiftian at their Ashley Rec ground.
Milton have now lost five league games by three points or less and have drawn two matches.
Dalton Thomas touched down for Milton in the first half but they turned around 7-5 down.
They looked like they were going to record their third victory of the campaign after tries from prop Lee Thomas and Dan Oliver, one converted by Ramon Mallette.
But OMs’ two penalties and try in the last minute netted them the win.
