Fordingbridge reached the final of the Gales HSB Hampshire Bowl with victory over arch rivals and neighbours Ellingham & Ringwood.

Fittingly the 25-5 win – and best performance of the season – came on the day of the first O’Connell memorial challenge.

Founder captain and former president, Tony O’Connell, who died two years ago, would have been proud of his team’s comprehensive victory over the Es.
