HAMPSHIRE sailor Ben Ainslie has confirmed he will race in the America's Cup World Series after London 2012.
The 34-year-old revealed at a press conference in London this morning that he has set up Ben Ainslie Racing and will be racing in the AC45 Class at the 34th America's Cup in 2012-13.
The four-times Olympic medallist said: "We'll be competing in the AC45 Class, it's fantastic to be back involved in the America's Cup and I'm really looking forward to the challenge ahead.
"We have absolutely no intention of competing as a challenger for the 34th America's Cup, it's just not realistic in the time frame that we have.
"But we very much hope to be a challenger in the future with the 35th America's Cup."
