Over 50 boats on display at the Lymington New Boat Show

This year's Lymington New Boat Show will be held at Lymington Yacht Haven - running from the 11th - 13th April 2008. The New Boat Show will host a wide selection of boats from Ancasta International Boat Sales, Offshore Powerboats and Sea Ventures. The show is open daily from 10am - 5pm and entry is free.

Solent Spectacular - Red Funnel Easter Challenge

Over 6,000 miles of RORC organised racing kicks off this Easter with the 17th edition of the Red Funnel Easter Challenge. There is a mouth-watering prospect of a huge variety of yachts scheduled for seven races in just three days from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd of March. Competitors take note that it is two weeks earlier than last year.

The wind conditions are slowly improving for Dee Caffari onboard her Open 60 yacht Aviva. Caffari and her closest race rivals, Derek Hatfield and Rich Wilson, are hoping to enjoy some stronger winds over the coming 24 hours and make up the miles towards Port La Foret.

Dee Caffari has made a fantastic recovery to keep in touch with the fleet and is now only 35 miles behind the race leader Safran. Caffari's first day racing her Open 60 Aviva alone has been a real rollercoaster ride.
