HAMPSHIRE sailor Iain Percy's Olympic medal bid has been put on hold after light winds forced racing to be cancelled today.
Percy and his crewmate Andrew Simpson are currently lying in the silver medal position after seven races in the Star class.
The 32-year-old Southampton-born sailor, who won gold in the Finn class in 2000, will sail three races tomorrow before going into the all-important medal race on Thursday.
