HAMPSHIRE sailor Iain Percy is the latest British Olympian in line for a medal in Qingdao.
Percy and his team mate Andrew Simpson are currently in second position after ten races in the Star class.
They will go into tomorrow's medal race on the same points total as fleet leaders Frederik Loof and Anders Ekstrom from Sweden, and just two points behind on net points.
Southampton-born Percy, a former student of Peter Symonds College in Winchester, won a gold medal in 2000 in the Finn class and will be taking inspiration from Britain's other Olympic sailors who have already won three golds, a silver and a bronze.
