Daily Echo:

Manolo Gabbiadini and Josh Sims rescued a point for Saints, the former with a superb strike to make it 1-1 in the 90th minute and the latter for his impact after coming on for James Ward-Prowse with 20 minutes left.

Ashley Barnes bundled the ball home on 68 minutes to give the Clarets the lead after a completely drab affair up until that point.

After that, Saints finally clicked into gear. Sims was superb. He got wide and got some crosses in, which the visitors had lacked so much before his introduction.

Just as things seemed lost, Redmond played to Sims on the right and the academy man picked out Guido Carrillo at the far post.

The Argentine nodded the ball back into the middle to Gabbiadini, who swiveled 180 degrees and leathered it home to save a point for Mauricio Pellegrino's men.
