Police are looking for the owner of a dog thought to have attacked a Jack Russell. The Jack Russell was left with cuts and bruises after being attacked by a medium sized brown and black dog, thought to be an Airdale breed, in Rye last Friday.
The attacking dog’s owner is believed to have got it back under control, but Sussex Police would still like to talk to them.
PC Paul Fielder said: "I'd like to appeal for the owner of the attacking dog, which we believe could be an Airedale, to come forward to discuss this incident".
If anyone witnessed this incident or has information about who owns the dog described, please contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 1100 of 07/12.
