Dickson for Wembley?

Daily Echo: RYAN DICKSON RYAN DICKSON

Saints defender Ryan Dickson is poised to join League Two side and potential Capital One Cup finalists Bradford City today on loan until the end of the season.

The 26-year-old, below, has not played for the club in more than a year, but a deal is understood to have been agreed to send him to Valley Parade.

Dickson is not cup tied, meaning he could potentially play for the Bantams in the second leg of their League Cup tie against Aston Villa later this month, with Phil Parkinson’s side holding a surprise 3-1 lead following their heroics earlier this week.

Bradford are also closing in on a Wembley berth in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, where they have reached the northern area semi-final.

Good luck Ryan. I liked you as a player but with Luke here your time is up.

Is he out of contract any way at the end of the season.

Probably no one will pay because he's out of contract this summer (I think).

I think it is the level of his wages that has upset his progress, good luck to him whatever he does, always gave his best for us and should be getting games.

he was offered a season long loan at start of season (crawley i think) but turned it down because of wages! so he has spent half a season sat on his arse!(not in squad) probably knows he has to move now to get a contract elseware. cant blame him , would you like to go home and tell the misses that allthough you have a contract for this season you have taken a 50% ? pay cut because "you want to play 1st team football" ????
