Ryan Dickson has completed his move from Saints to Bradford City, signing on loan with the League Two side until the end of the season.
The deal effectively brings down the curtain on the 26-year-old’s St Mary’s career, with his contract due to expire in the summer.
Left-back Dickson, who had loan spells at Yeovil and Leyton Orient last season, has not played for Saints in more than a year.
He signed for the club from Brentford in the summer of 2010, but made just 30 appearances in total. He travelled to Bradford yesterday before completing the formalities of his switch today.
Dickson is not cup-tied, meaning he can play for the Bantams in the second leg of their League Cup semi-final against Aston Villa, with the fourth-tier side holding a shock 3-1 lead at the halfway stage.
Bradford are also closing in on a Wembley berth in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, where they have reached the northern area semi-final.
