And Pep Guardiola never coached the female Barcelona team, did he?

I am disappointed that Nigel has gone and the manner of his going. He deserved better than this, and so did we as supporters.

Like it or not, we have no say in these things. We can express our dismay, disgust, surprise etc., but that is football in 2013. Hope for the best, keep the faith and give the players the support they deserve.

We have a massive say, we called all boycott the stadium till Cortese is sacked but that would never happen, if we did I reckon he'd be gone within a couple of games.

All the news (As, Mundo Deportivo, ABC...) in Spain clearly said "Pochettino sacked". The truth is that he loved Espanyol and that is why he probably renounced to the money. I think he is an honest guy... but he left Espanyol BOTTOM of la Liga.
A few games later, Aguirre has got them out of the relegation.
Probably a good time to sack him!

Reading a bit more about him, the Espanyol fans all agree that he was great with the Academy and that he played good football. Most of them seemed to blame the chairman for the failure (selling too many players, although that doesn't explain how Aguirre could make them work).

Maybe there is a plan behind this... hopefully one that works!

It took me ages to get to grips with his post match interviews but when I did I realised he was fcuking hilarious!
My fave was after the Leicester game and their fans were shouting Ole's as they passed the ball around. GS said in the first half their fans were shouting Ole so in the second half we came out like bulls and gave them the horn!

Agree. Football today as a brand is an all consuming money monster driven by the results and success business. NC is a shrewd and very successful business man and has track record of getting results for companies he's been involved with. I'd rather have a man at the helm with his business acumen and ambition than some other chairmen who aren't in the same league as NC.
Like I said earlier, NC has said more than once that Southampton FC are his baby and normal people wouldn't purposely harm their own baby would they?
