Shaw on the bench is the big surprise for me.
He does usually suffer a little towards the end of a game. Perhaps he's being saved for "Fergie time" towards the end.

Hopefully u will be pleasantly surprised tonite. Fox took huge stick earlier in the season when he was getting absolutely zero cover. With Spider and Cork playing so well he won't be as isolated. I'm not saying he's the best in the world but give the guy a chance. Fonte and Hoover have stepped up a gear and if he wants to be a Prem. player tonite is the nite to show the new manager that he can too.

Everyone can see the difference in tactics, not going forward but out of possession we are much more aggressive and if you actually studied it you would see the defensive line about 5 yards higher up the pitch making us much tighter.
As for resting someone I actually think Adkins might have rested even more players with wigan coming up Saturday.
Puncheon was playing on the right, it was switched halfway through he half.
J-Rod worked hard, not great put tracked back and chased well.
As for Forren, only someone out of his mind would hand a centre back a PL debut at Old Trafford. Did you see Maya at Arsenal? I'm sure he will be involved on Saturday.
