Why has he dropped Shaw? Fox is Championship at best. Must be carrying a knock.
Reminds me when Pardew brought them back from Switzerland and Richardson had dislocated his shoulder and Lallana was not fit!!
I think Luke stayed up too late playing Minefield or whatever game he was going on about on Twitter.

Surprised JWP doesn't feature tonight considering he played the whole game against United at the beginning of the season and did really well. Chaplow surprises me. Interesting how a change of management changes things. As someone once said it's a game of opinions. I'd like to see JWP and Shaw go out on loan now. They're are both talented players but will not progress if they are ignored or relegated to the bench!!!!

He does usually suffer a little towards the end of a game. Perhaps he's being saved for "Fergie time" towards the end.

Shaw will be playing, Pochettino has already said he likes how Luke plays and he's already well known as being a fan of youth. The only reason he'd be left out is if he's injured.

Puncheon plays with Clyne on the RIGHT (maybe Spanish translation required)
J-Rod... Scored the goal but is, by far, our worst player. This guy is like playing with 10 men! Gives the free kick away leading to their second goal... He has had enough chances! Why didn't we keep Billy instead?!
Forren not even on the bench... although thought Maya and Hoover wasn't too bad.
Fox did ok... But Shaw is class, why no start for him?
Different game with Lallana... Deserved to start but understandable. Was Gaston injured? Didn't play very well.
So not impressed if this is the "next level" He said he had been learning about the team for weeks... Looked like days to me.
Always proud to be a Saints fan, the pub all clapped when I went mad after 5 minutes! Soo good to be in the Premiership where we belong!
Wigan away... Please play Punch on right... Get rid of J-Rod and three points for us!

Hello poppets, I used the word "knob" yesterday - I learned it from my mummy, did I use it right?
Nobody replied to my thredd pow-sting.
What is a "knob"? I need to know so I could try it on the News site as well.
I think my mummy wants me to grow up to be a "knob".

If there is a worry, it is that we are not scoring as many as we should. 21 shots and only one goal suggests that we are not very efficient finishers.

I am judging him on the Adkins effect, I feel Nigel would definitely played Puncheon on the right... Agree?
Shaw should start?
J-Rod is terrible?
No Forren? (you won't like this if your Swedish!)
Great to have praise from the big man, fantastic for the lads but we should've (could've) got something from that.
Please tell me what difference MP made to the team that drew with Chelski?
So first marks are 3/10, he hasn't done anything special yet... But I hope he does! I am behind him!

As for resting someone I actually think Adkins might have rested even more players with wigan coming up Saturday.
Puncheon was playing on the right, it was switched halfway through he half.
J-Rod worked hard, not great put tracked back and chased well.
As for Forren, only someone out of his mind would hand a centre back a PL debut at Old Trafford. Did you see Maya at Arsenal? I'm sure he will be involved on Saturday.

His header... Free header... Yeah, we paid £7M for that. I hope he can turn it around but I would rather have Guly on!
Even the Man U fan I had to sit with laughed at the man... He nearly fell off his chair when I told him what we paid!
BUT he is a Saint and I will support him, but its getting hard.
