Two-car crash causes delays in Bridport

TWO cars were involved in a collision on the East Road roundabout in Bridport on Monday morning causing rush-hour hold-ups.

There were no injuries reported for the drivers of the silver Mazda 323, registered to a Dorchester woman or the silver Ford Focus, registered to a Bridport man.

There was a large amount of debris consisting of glass, plastic, oil and water on the road.

Police notified the Highways Agency and Dorset County Council.
