LOCAL artists are being invited submit their work for inclusion in a Wirral art gallery’s spring exhibition of art and photography.
It will be on view at Williamson Art Gallery and Museum in Oxton from March 23 - May 5.
Everybody with a link to Wirral is entitled to enter work which will go through a selection process before being accepted into the exhibition.
The art section is selected by a panel and one or more prize-winner will have their work purchased for the gallery's own collection.
The photography section is chosen by a different panel, with support from the Birkenhead Photographic Association (BPA) and a small cash prize given jointly by the BPA and the Friends of the Williamson.
In addition, throughout the exhibition, visitors vote for their favourite overall item.
The one receiving the most votes wins the Kriterion Award, named after the local art critic Mrs Kay Greenwood Casey.
Entries will be accepted at the Williamson in Slatey Road, Oxton, tomorrow Friday, March 1, and over the weekend, Saturday March 2-3, between 10.30am and 4.30pm.
