EVERY year a special floral display at a local church tells people that Easter has truly arrived, and this year will be no exception.
St Bartholomew’s Church in Ashperton, near Ledbury, will be adorned with dozens of beautiful lilies over Easter, staring on Good Friday.
The lilies are sponsored by local people, in memory of loved ones, and the event is by now a well-known annual spectacle.
Anyone wishing to sponsor a lily for the mediaeval church, which is close to the remains of Ashperton Moat, should phone Anna Russell on 01531 670378.
