THE POOLE (FOOTPATH NO. 76)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES AND PEDESTRIANS)ORDER 2014
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Borough and County of the Town of Poole, the Highway Authority, is satisfied that vehicles and pedestrians on the said Footpath should be prohibited and intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order in exercise of its powers under Section 5, 14(1), 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers as detailed above, the effect of which is that no person or vehicle shall proceed along Footpath No. 76 -adjacent to No. 54 Pearce Avenue.
The proposed closure is required for excavation and foundation works.
 The proposed Order is effective from Tuesday 27 May 2014 until Thursday 27 November 2014. The Order is operative for the period mentioned above but will continue in force for the statutory period of six months if required.
If the works are not completed within the statutory period the Order may be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport.
Any person who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of the Order will be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £400.
