New Trowbridge skipper Alex Hart, who takes over following Weaver’s departutre, reckons that a positive start will be key to his side mounting a Wiltshire Division promotion push.
“For a club with the county ground, we should be higher up the leagues but it’s a rebuilding process at the moment,” said Hart.
“I’ll be working to try and get our young side to develop that winning mentality. It’s important that we do well in our first three games.”
Hart has recruited fellow South African Wesley Marshall, whilst youngsters Luke Seymour and Sam Julyan have been promoted to the first team.
Winsley start their Wiltshire Division campaign away to Marshfield.
