A THIEF who repeatedly drove off from service stations across East Lancashire without paying for fuel has been ordered to carry out 120 hours of community service.
Thomas Andrew Dennis Kiff, 30, who lives in a houseboat, off Red Lane, Colne, admitted four offences of dishonestly making off without payment.
He escaped with almost £440 in diesel after two thefts in Blackburn, and another two in Rossendale, last September, Burnley magistrates heard.
Kiff was also ordered to pay compensation, and £180 court costs.
