THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) (CHURCH ROAD, PAMBER HEATH)
ORDER 2014

Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of the powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, proposes to make the following Order:
Reason for Order: The Council is satisfied that traffic on the road should be restricted or prohibited because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road.
Effect of Order: All traffic will be prohibited from travelling along Church Road From St Luke's Church, Church Road to Valley Road junction. The Closure is to allow for repairs to a water main.
Duration of Order: The order will come into effect on 27 May 2014 for 1 month. (Notwithstanding the above, it is expected the closure will be for one day until 28 May 2014)
Alternative Route: From the southern end of closure travel eastwards on Church Road to Pamber Heath Road. Then turn right and travel northwards to Silchester Road. Turn Right again and travel eastwards to the northern end of Church Road and turn right towards the northern end of closure.
