Saints' newest signing, Sadio Mane, set Senegal on their way to an African Cup of Nations qualifying victory over Botswana last night.

The 22-year-old opened the scoring late in the first half, bursting through the middle to receive a through pass, before finishing low into the corner.

Mane's goal capped a superb week for the winger, who was also on target in Saturday's 2-0 victory against Egypt, which marked their opening game of his country's qualification campaign.

Senegal are currently top of Group G, with their superior goal difference putting them ahead of Tunisia, who also have two wins.

Mane will now fly to England to link up with his new teammates, following his £10m deadline day move from Red Bull Salzburg.
