SAINTS left-back Matt Targett put England U20s ahead with his first international goal as they went on to draw 1-1 with Portugal in Coimbra.
And he was on target again, this time from the spot, as England won a penalty shoot-out against their hosts.
Saints’ Harrison Reed also played in the match.
And another young Saint, Josh Sims, was an 83rd-minute substitute as England U18s beat their Polish counterparts 4-1 in Gdansk.
