SAINTS striker Dani Osvaldo is coming back to Britain in the new year.

The Italian international forward is currently on a season long loan to Inter Milan.

And Milan were today drawn against Scottish Premier League table-toppers Glasgow Celtic in the last 32 of the Europa League.

Osvaldo has so far started two of Inter’s Europa League games, coming on as a sub in three others.

He has scored once, the winner in a 2-1 home success against Dnipro.

Osvaldo reached the semi finals of the Europa League last season with Juventus.

After joining Juve on loan from Saints in January 2014, Osvaldo helped the Turin giants to the last four where they lost to Benfica 2-1 on aggregate.

For Celtic, the draw marks a reunion with the opposition for the most famous match in the club's history, the 1967 European Cup final which Jock Stein's 'Lisbon Lions' won 2-1.

Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham will also face Italian opposition in the form of Fiorentina, while Everton were drawn against Swiss side Young Boys in the first tie out of the UEFA pots.

Ex-Saints Rickie Lambert, Dejan Lovren and Adam Lallana saw their Liverpool side paired with Besiktas.

The first-leg matches will be played on February 19, with the return fixtures seven days later.
