The Daily Echo brings you a round-up of the transfer stories making the headlines across the rest of the media today.

Saints right back Nathaniel Clyne is being linked with a move to Liverpool, according to the Independent.

The same paper mentioned the England international as a potential recruit for Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal just six days ago, following Clyne's performance in Saints' historic win at Old Trafford.

Clyne was a bargain £2m signing from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2012, but Ronald Koeman's arrival last summer has seen the player's star rise ever higher - especially after an impressive England senior debut last November.

Liverpool signed three players from Saints last summer, but none have so far set Anfield alight.

Rickie Lambert has only scored two Premier League goals, Adam Lallana's season  has been hit by injuries, while Dejan Lovren has struggled to even get in the team in recent weeks  - the Croatian's absence leading to improved Reds results.
