Ronald Koeman wants to take Real Madrid wonderkid Martin Odegaard on loan next season, according to the Daily Mirror.
The 16-year-old Norwegian, who is apparently dubbed 'the new Messi', joined the Spanish club in January from Stromsgodset.
The Mirror claims that Saints sent scouts to watch the player in action for Real Madrid's B team last weekend.
Elsewhere, Arsenal are apparently eyeing up a "shock" move for Saints forward Sadio Mane in the summer, according to the Metro, who cite a report in Italy, which cites the Daily Mail, although we can't actually find any evidence of them saying anything about it!
Probably best not to worry too much about that one for now.
