Ryan Bertrand has again been overlooked for the latest England squad, with Tottenham's Danny Rose replacing the injured Luke Shaw.
Ex-Saints left-back Shaw was withdrawn tonight, ahead of the Euro 2016 qualifier against Lithuania and friendly with Italy.
Rather than being replaced by Bertrand, though, England manager Roy Hodgson opted to bring Spurs defender Rose into the group.
As expected, Saints keeper Fraser Forster has also been withdrawn after the knee injury he suffered against Burnley, with Rob Green replacing him and Jack Butland also being called up from the under-21s.
