The Sun have reported that Saints have offered £6m for Legia Warsaw’s Ondrej Duda.
The 20-year-old Slovakian midfielder is apparently a replacement for Morgan Schneiderlin.
Gazetta dello Sport have linked Saints with Sampdoria star Stefano Okaka, who is also wanted by Stoke.
Meanwhile, the Mirror has touted former Saints striker Rickie Lambert for a shock summer move to Chelsea.
