The Daily Echo brings you a round-up of the Saints-related transfer rumours appearing in the media today...

Saints are keen to sign the Belgian league’s top scorer, Aleksandar Mitrovic, according to the Daily Mirror.

The 20-year-old Anderlecht player has netted 20 times in 43 appearances this season, with the paper describing him as “one of the hottest young strikers in Europe”.

The Mirror say that he is valued at £15m and that Saints have now joined Newcastle and Swansea in the race for his signature.

The same publication says that the club are also on standby after Wolfsburg striker Bas Dost admitted he is ready for talks on his future.

As well as Saints, Stoke, Newcastle and Swansea are said to be tracking the £8m-rated Dutch international.

Elsewhere, the Daily Mail report that Saints have sent scouts to watch Sampdoria striker Stefano Okaka.

The 25-year-old Italy international had a loan spell at Fulham in the 2010/11 season.

Additionally, the Daily Telegraph say that Saints face competition from south coast neighbours Bournemouth for Sporting Braga striker Eder.

The Cherries have apparently made a £5m bid for the powerful 27-year-old Portugal international, who the Telegraph say is also being tracked by Saints.
